NEW CALEDONIAN SPECIES 3

1 1 Agathis moorei - Tree New Caledonia 2 2 Araucaria luxurians - Trees Baie des Tortues. In this small bay the Araucaria, Cycas seemannii and Pandanus sp. are growing right by the sea. One of the big trees was measured 41m high, with a circumference at breast height of 1.91m. It is interesting to note that there were a lot of mature trees, but hardly small or medium sized trees.
