Juniperus monticola
- Tree
This is the same tree that appears in Adams new book Junipers of the world,
however some fences and picknic tables have been added since his photo was taken.
Many of the trees in this area are enclosed in several campgounds
and have their lower branches trimmed.
This tree is one of the largest, being about 4 meters tall.

Juniperus monticola
- Tree
A few trees had clear trunks, but this is the more typical form seen everywhere.
Most of the clear trunked trees seem to have been trimmed. They are in a campground.
There are however a few trees definitely not trimmed that where a little more erect with the trunk visible.
